Prepare the details that make the enquiry useful
Include the exact part number, requested quantity and unit. Identify each intended receiving point and the questions needing an answer. Where a drawing, sample or earlier quote matters, retain its reference and revision beside the relevant line. A filename in the register is a reference only; it is not an attached document.
For a longer brief, save the full files from the review panel. A WhatsApp summary may be shortened and does not attach those files automatically. Review the message and any separately shared documents before sending them.

Opening a draft is not confirmation of receipt
A WhatsApp link opens a separate service and can transfer the prepared text to it. You decide whether to send the message there. The desk has no automatic enquiry submission, received-message check or order-acceptance process.
Confirm the reply and quotation through the conversation you choose. No response time, available stock, delivery date or price is established by preparing a draft.
